Anmol Sawlani, director at broker Azure Risk, said: “Coverage for communicable diseases, including the cancellation related, will continue to be excluded. Underwriters have expressed that there is no foreseeable timeline as to when they can start covering this again.”
Any commercial contracts and agreements should be worded appropriately to limit the fallout while also setting out rescheduling allowances/costs and the position on deposits paid, Sawlani added.
